Seed Bake!!! Ingredients US Metric 1x 2x 3x ▢ ¾ cup raw pumpkin seeds ▢ 1 tablespoon olive oil ▢ ½ teaspoon kosher salt ▢ ⅛ teaspoon black pepper (optional) Equipment: *Bowl *Spoon & Wooden Spoon or Spatula *Silicone Mat *Silicone baster *4 sided baking tray Instructions Preheat oven to 350°F (177ºC). In a small bowl combine pumpkin seeds, olive oil, salt, and black pepper. Lightly grease a sheet pan with olive oil. (use silicone baster). Evenly spread the seasoned pumpkin seeds on the sheet pan. Bake until the seeds are toasted and crunchy, about 12 to 15 minutes. Stir every 5 minutes for even toasting, and check for doneness with each stir by tasting a seed for crunchiness. Transfer the roasted pumpkin seeds to a bowl to cool down.
Attendance. You have 2 TA's for this lesson :) Michelle and Lumi. They know how to do attendance for you. Students are baking their already prepped apple crumble's in today's class. Please request that the TA's bring out the crumbles for baking from the back freezers. Baking Time - 45min to 50 min. REMINDER - for students - PUT A 4 sided large cookie sheet UNDER your crumble pan before your put it in the oven. This will catch any accidental overflow. REMINDER: TA's to dole out ice cream - max 3 scoops per student please. Ice cream located in the back room freezer. * All washing up and tidying must be complete before 10am. At 10am TA's to do station checks re: all items used and ensuring that all returned equipment has been dried and put away properly. Recipe - for your reference. Bake Temp is 350 today.
