Sept 28 2022 Rice Krispy Treat Make!

Review Directions!!! Teams to make your treats and then complete your recipe instructions sections in your recipe duo tangs!!!!! Rice Krispy Treat Remember:  Lab Group Assignments -  Head Chef Prep Cooks x 2 Dishwasher IMPORTANT!!!!  Only 1 group member to teacher station to pick up your lab group bin - with aprons, cloths, additional product items. One member of your group to get your recipe duo tang for reference. * Head Chef. Once your group has prepped your muffin tray PLEASE be very careful putting it in the oven. Make sure it is set flat. Make sure to set your timer for 8 min. Use oven mitts to turn your tray and then set another 8 min. Total cook time 16-18 min. Looking for golden brown edges.  Leave out cutting board for tray out of oven as well as tongs as well as cooling tray. At the end of the lab all group members to assist with final clean up, final sanitization of counters and sweeping of your area.  All used aprons and dishtowels to the front laundry hamper for washing.

Rice Krispy Treat  TTOC to complete full demo as per instructions above. TTOC - please review of dishwashing protocol (located on the outside cupboard doors of each station).

Remainder of Class - For Project: Your lab group will be assigned a Kitchen Safety item/aspect to focus upon for your lab group project for today. Please stay in your lab groups as assigned last class. A-F  Any - new students - select a group with less than 4 max per group. Each lab group will focus on a different topic as listed below.  Lab Groups: You will create a poster on the below topics as listed. Yes I know you may have sanitized before class - BUT YES you do need to wash them again upon entry to this space. :)  Note:  PINK LIQUID IS HAND SOAP. BLUE = DISH SOAP.  *Both work :)  *Please sit at your assigned seat unless instructed to begin your weekly lab &  remember - hands to yourselves  at your desk and while working.  *Do not congregate at the door prior to dismissal - please wait until your table or row is dismissed.
