Nov 7 2002 Kahoot Final Exam Prep & TA Lumi Demo

TTOC - please share these notes with the class and also with my TA's (Michelle and Lumi)

Attendance - TA's will take (Michelle or Lumi) 

While attendance is being taken please send a student or TA up to get the Ipad Kit from the library (8 Ipads)

Then have the students complete the above linked Kahoot (most will be able to use their phones but those who don't have their phones can use the Ipads).

Reminder: Students - your final exam is on Thursday! Max 25-30 multiple choice questions! You are going to do great! 

While students are doing the Kahoot - Lumi - please set up for your Demo. 

TA Lumi Demo - all of Lumi's items are located in the back room and fridges (2nd fridge). 

Lumi - no worries re: having students write down your recipe - you will need to print min 7 copies for them to utilize on their next bake day (Wednesday). 

*Note: Lumi - Apologies - I could not get the nuts you requested for your recipe but did get raisins instead. Also - there was no vegan cream cheese so my other TA sourced the lactose free instead for today FYI. Have fun!!! 

TTOC or Michelle - can you please video a bit of Lumi's Demo for me please to review when I get back to school - hopefully - Wednesday.

Oct 28 2022 Seed Bake!!!!

Seed Bake!!!  Ingredients  US Metric   1x 2x 3x ▢ ¾   cup   raw pumpkin seeds ▢ 1   tablespoon   olive oil ▢ ½   teaspoon   kosher salt ▢ ⅛   teaspoon   black pepper (optional) Equipment: *Bowl *Spoon & Wooden Spoon or Spatula *Silicone Mat *Silicone baster *4 sided baking tray Instructions  Preheat oven to 350°F (177ºC). In a small bowl combine pumpkin seeds, olive oil, salt, and black pepper. Lightly grease a sheet pan with olive oil. (use silicone baster).  Evenly spread the seasoned pumpkin seeds on the sheet pan. Bake until the seeds are toasted and crunchy, about 12 to 15 minutes.  Stir every 5 minutes for even toasting, and check for doneness with each stir by tasting a seed for crunchiness. Transfer the roasted pumpkin seeds to a bowl to cool down.
